Take a run through the stats and specs of Nikon’s new full-frame camera, a powerhouse for stills and video that will take your creativity to the next level

Mount: Nikon Z mount

The widest mirrorless mount, more light and a stunning selection of lenses available to cover every style.

Effective pixels: 24.5 million

The partially stacked CMOS sensor on the Nikon Z 6III is a world first for mirrorless full-frame cameras. Stacking layers of components and high-speed processing circuits in the sensor allows for readout speeds around 3.5x faster than the Nikon Z6II. This enables high-speed shooting up to 120 fps, Full HD/240p slow motion and 6K/60p recording in-camera, all with reduced rolling shutter and faster AF calculations.

Electronic viewfinder: 5670k dots

The incredible EVF on the Nikon Z6III has even higher brightness compatibility than that on the Z8 and Z9, is compatible with wide DCI-P3 colour gamut, which enables viewing rich and vivid colours without saturation, and has such a high resolution that it’s much easier to confirm focus when enlarging your images. During high-speed continuous shooting at 20fps, the EVF displays at 60fps for an incredibly smooth view.

Card slots: two slots

CFExpress (XQD) + SD (UHS-II). Two card slots offer the flexibility of both CFExpress and full-size SD.
